The National Archives of Cambodia (NAC) is a public institution that is open to anyone interested in Cambodia’s past. It welcomes researchers both from Cambodia and abroad and strives to assist them in finding answers to their questions among our rich collections of documents from the last two centuries. A department of the Cambodian government, the NAC is committed to efficient and non-discriminatory service to all its patrons. While many of our researchers come from a University background, you do not require any academic qualification to be allowed to do research at the National Archives of Cambodia. However, you are more likely to be successful in your research if you prepare yourself before starting out.
